Selma : film review

On Thursday 7th December we watched “Selma”. The movie shows Martin Luther King’s struggle for the right to vote for black people in Alabama.
He wants to organize a non violent protest march between Selma and Montgomery.

The governor wants to prevent him from marching but President Johnson supports him.
The outcome is that black people got the right to vote.
What we like in the movie is the message conveyed by Martin Luther King : violence doesn’t solve anything.
The movie depicts true events which took place during segregation.
